Split Second - Original
In a split second — what changed?
Nine numbers appear on a 3×3 board for a moment, then the screen blinks. When they come back, exactly one number has changed. Find it and tap it — this is Chalna's signature game. Levels 1–3 use only numbers from 1 to 15, so it's an easy start, and the range grows as you level up.

- Levels · Modes
- One mode (3 lives; numbers start at 1–15, widen by 10 per level from level 4, and reach 1–100 at level 12; look time drops from 3s by 0.25s per level, down to 1s)
How to play
- Tap Start and nine numbers appear. Look carefully while the bar shrinks.
- When time is up, the screen is covered for a moment and then comes back.
- One number changed in the meantime. Find it and tap it.
- Get it right to move up a level; get it wrong and you lose a life. The game ends when all 3 lives are gone.
Tips
- Instead of memorizing each number, try to take in the whole board at once, like a snapshot.
- Once the number range grows at higher levels, remember the stand-out numbers first (100, 1, or doubles like 77) — they make comparing easier.
- At higher levels a number may change into a similar one, like 47 becoming 74. Check the last digit too.
What it practices
Instant memoryPractice holding a scene you only saw for a moment.
Spotting changeFind what's different between two scenes that look almost the same.

- Everyone from kids who know their numbers to seniors
Good to know
When a screen blinks for even a moment, people often miss a change right in front of them. Psychologists call this 'change blindness' — it's why the game looks easy but is surprisingly tricky. The answer cell shows both the old number and the new one.
